Celtic Speed Take Dominant Victory at Daytona Classic.

Celtic Speed racing team scored a dominant victory in the Group C category of theHSR Classic Daytona 24 Hours Presented by IMSA at the weekend, making it 3 wins out of4 starts for the team in the prestigious American event.

The driver lineup was led by Irish racer Tommy Dreelan, supported by British driverAaron Scott. The duo were dominant all weekend in the teams iconic Leyton House Porsche962, taking pole position, victory and fastest lap.

The Celtic Speed cars are prepared by Scott Sport, a Midlands based which is ownedand managed by racing driver Aaron Scott.

Tommy said, "The cars ran superbly throughout the weekend and we really enjoy thisevent. It's incredible to secure a hat trick of victories. Daytona is a special place and thePorsche 962 is part of the circuits iconic history having secured wins in period during theDaytona 24 hours. Thanks to all the HSR organisers for putting on such a superb event."

The team also scored an impressive result with their Oreca FLM prototype in theGroup E Category, the same driver lineup of Tommy Dreelan and Aaron Scott achieved 5thplace after battling hard amongst the faster LMP1 and LMP2 cars in what was a verycompetitive field.

The Celtic Speed squad will be heading back to Florida in 3 weeks time to contest theClassic Sebring 12 hour which takes place on 29th November - 2nd December 2018.
