"Having enjoyed my first full season as a British Touring Car Championship driver in 2018, my ultimate goal was to progress up the pecking order and challenge for the overall Drivers Title in the most competitive racing series in the UK.
Three years later and I have made significant steps forward, cementing myself as one of the top competitors in the BTCC, scoring numerous pole positions, race victories and podium finishes. To have secured a podium finish at 7 out of 9 events in 2020 showcased my consistency, providing a springboard for what would prove to be the most successful season of my career to date.
It’s crucial that I continue to develop and progress year on year. The only way to do this in a series as competitive as the BTCC is to gain the support of a manufacturer. In 2021, I’m excited to be taking the next step in my career as I join Toyota Gazoo Racing UK and step behind the wheel of the Toyota Corolla.
The hard work now starts in order to build on everything that I achieved over the course of my BTCC career and my focus is firmly on fighting for the overall championship in 2021.
